The Woodland Mosque summer school graduation ceremony was held on July 29, 2012. The summer school started on June 18 with six classes according to education levels of the boys and girls. For girls there were separate classes with female teachers.
At school both Taleem and Tarbiyat (education and character building) was given to all students to be good Muslim citizens of the world.
The summer school sponsors believe that att this early stage we will still enrolling kids for a limited period. “We can arrange for the ride s if some one needs on case by case basis.”
Community leaders and elders who gave graduation certificates to the students included: Chaudhry Ahad Parwez president of the Woodland Mosque, Chaudhry Asghar Dhaka, Chaudhry Afrasiab, Chaudhry Mohammad Hanif and Chaudhry Zahoor Ahmed.
